  • Dr Saad Ismail

    Dr Ismail is a general practitioner who has been studying the Islamic intellectual tradition for the best part of fifteen years. As a founding member of Turning SouthEast, he has a keen interest in supporting Islamic scholarship at all levels.

    At present, he is completing an MPhil at the Faculty of Theology, University of Oxford, with a thesis that looks at foundational aspects of Ibn Sina's epistemology.

  • Yasser Darr

    Yasser Darr is presently a senior manager in the social work sector.

    For the past 12 years, he has also been a committed student of the Islamic intellectual tradition, having spent time studying in both Egypt and Turkey. He also has an MA in Philosophy from the University of London, where he wrote a thesis on intentionality in Aristotelian psychology.
